We'd like to thank everyone who came out to Maxwell's last night for the Hoboken Funk Fest! We raised money for a good cause, and good times were had all around. Special thanks to our friends OTiS and Subcommittee for putting on a great show, and to our friends Dustin and James from Gashouse radio, who made the trip all the way up from the Philly area to check us out. Next up we've got a special interview and acoustic performance on WDHA's Homegrown Spotlight with Lindsay Klein on December 10th! Also, we've been selected as wild cards for Gashouse Radio's year-end Tournament of Champions, which begins Monday. We're going to need fan votes to keep in the running, so stay tuned for more details, coming right up...
We hope you're all doing well and recovering from the after effects of Hurrican Sandy. Unfortunately, not everyone is so lucky. That is why we have decided to donate all proceeds from our November 30th show at Maxwell's in Hoboken to the fine people at RebuildHoboken.Org.
Join us with our friends OTiS and Subcommittee as we give you a night of funky music for a great cause. The show is courtesy of our friends at CEG Presents, and we're happy to be working to raise money to help Hoboken residents afflicted by the storm. Please show your support and meet us at Maxwell's on November 30th at 9PM!
And check out the badass original artwork for the show's poster by our friend, Jersey City artist Narcisu Espiritu, Jr.
Stay safe, and we'll see you at the show!
We hope everyone weathered Hurrican Sandy without too much trouble. Many people here in Jersey have suffered massive damage or lost their homes completely, and our hearts go out to them. Stay safe, everybody. On November 30th, we'll be hitting up Maxwell'sin Hoboken with our friends OTiS and Subcommittee. Hoboken was hit particularly hard by the storm, and so it'll be nice to get down with some good music and good vibes to lift some spirits. We're working on new material all the time, and hope to have a new song ready for the show. Stay tuned for more updates!
We want to thank everyone who helped us get as far as we did on Gashouse Radio's Band Vs. Band competition. Thanks to you all, we made it through 11 consecutive days. To all the Philly folks who showed us love these past two weeks, you guys kick ass, and don't worry, we'll be over in Philly to funk you up in person very soon. Special thanks to Dustin and everyone else at Gashouse Radio for putting on a great show and helping us get out there. You guys are the best.
Last night at The Stanhope House was a lot of fun, so thanks to everyone that came out to see us! Next stop: Spike Hill in Williamsburg on October 1st! Check out the SHOWS page for more details on that. We're working on a lot of cool stuff for the next few months, so stay tuned!
Thanks to the support of fans in Philly and elsewhere, we're still doing well on Gashouse Radio's Band VS. Band competition, every weekday from 5-7PM EST. If we win it tonight we will be at 10 wins--just 5 away from retirement. If we're retired, we get to compete with four other bands in Gashouse's end of the year battle of the champions. Thanks for all the support!
Also, if you're in the Stanhope, NJ area, please check us out Friday night at The Stanhope House as we open for Donna the Buffalo! E-mail us for tickets!
Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks, and be sure to check the Shows page for all upcoming tour info.
Thanks to everybody who voted for us on Gashouse Radio's Gashouse Live the last few days. Thanks to you all, we've won three times in a row and are gearing up to win it again on Monday afternoon! We appreciate all the support you've been giving us. Keep voting and help us make it to retirement, which will put us in Gashouse's end-of-the-year battle!
Photos and video from the album release show at Sullivan Hall last week have begun to surface on our Facebook Page, and they're looking pretty snazzy! Head over to our profile to check them out, and if you have any of your own, please share them!

Check us out Wednesday, September 5th on Gashouse Radio's Gashouse Live at 5PM! One of our songs will be featured at the beginning, middle, and end of the show, alongside the music of another local band. Listeners have the opportunity to give a "thumbs up" to the song they like best, and the most liked artist gets to carry on into the next day's competition!
Be sure to tune in, either online or via Gashouse Radio's convenient iPhone and Android apps, and give us a "thumbs up!"
We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone that came out to support us at Sullivan Hall last night. It was really amazing to see you all! To our brothers in Kiwi & The Great Apes, thanks for coming down and killing it with us. You guys were awesome.
A very special thanks to the Mighty Rick Warren for helping us mix this beast; to the lovely Anastasia Panagakos for her beautiful album artwork; to Hellman Production for the stellar printing; and to Waltz Mastering for that much-needed polish and finishing touch.
